Introducting Landing Pages
 
Many states and regions have implemented new child safety laws that are affecting our industry. You may have been contacted by your payment provider about these laws.

A few months ago, we released the BLUR Option in Media Settings, which automatically adds a light blur to your thumbnails when enabled. This is a simple and effective trick that satisfies all child safety laws.

Many of our site owners, however, would prefer to build a totally SFW tour for their site, rather than simply blurring the thumbnails. 

We've introduced the LANDING PAGES module this week. This module allows you to build unlimited landing pages for your site. These pages load clean (no site template) and the module includes an HTML and CSS editor to help you easily build the page.

There are multiple options available for a landing page, the most significant being "Override Homepage". When this is set to YES for a landing page, the landing page will load instead of your homepage or warning page.

You can set multiple landing pages to "Override Homepage" for a simple and effective A/B/C/D/E+ testing setup.

The default landing page includes an optional Member Login Form, so that your members can sign in right from a landing page.

Landing pages also include an optional Newsletter Subscription Form, allowing your visitors to sign up for your email newsletter. A newsletter list is automatically created in the Newsletter module, no setup is required.

Implementing Landing Pages, or the Blur Option, is more than enough effort to satisfy the new child safety laws, and they have both been approved by all adult payment processors.
